- ▸Crafting: deterministic — exact materials produce the exact piece the recipe names. 63 recipes total.
- ▸Synthesis: cheaper per attempt, random output tier. 605 recipes total.
- ▸Synthesis wins on material efficiency when you don't care which exact piece you get.
- ▸Crafting wins when you need a specific weapon type or stat baseline.
Classic Crafting
63 deterministic recipes live at /crafting . Each one requires a fixed set of materials and produces the exact gear piece named on the recipe card. There is no random tier — what you craft is what you get.
Synthesis
605 random-tier recipes at /synthesis . You feed in N items of a minimum tier and get back 1 item that's at least that tier — with a chance of bumping up one or two grades. See the per-recipe probability bars on the page.
When to mix the two
Many endgame players use Crafting to mint a clean base piece, then run that piece through Synthesis to gamble it up a grade. The Crafting half guarantees the base type and tier; the Synthesis half is the upside.
